Biography:
Rodrigo da Silva Ferreira, a professor at the University of Brasília, holds a Ph.D. in Science from UNIFESP, specializing in proteins and synthetic peptides related to protease inhibitors and lectins. His research, from 2008 to 2012, focused on thrombosis and cancer models. His postdoctoral work (2012-2016) explored carbohydrates and glycosaminoglycans role in tumor cell behavior. Additionally, he investigated the mechanism of action of CrataBL, a protein with lectin and protease inhibitor activity. From 2017 to 2020 (postdoctoral), he studied NP-protein binding kinetics. With an h-index of 15 on Google Scholar, he has published over 25 papers in renowned scientific journals.
