Title : Compromised psychophysical orientation to the vertical gravitational constant and its role in the emergence of complex neurological and mental disorders
Abstract:
The human Central Nervous System (CNS) is fundamentally shaped by gravity, which provides a stable reference point for orientation, perception, and motor coordination. As in all living systems, human structure and function are profoundly influenced by the vertical gravitational constant. The CNS–gravity relationship thus reflects a psychophysical dynamic between organism and environment. Antigravity integrity, manifested in upright posture, supports hierarchical coherence across sensory, motor, and integrative neural systems, enabling perceptual stability, adaptive robustness, and environmental engagement. Disruption of gravitational engagement, as seen in prolonged recumbency, can destabilize these organizing principles. In conditions like Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and Long COVID, such deprivation is linked to orthostatic intolerance, autonomic dysfunction, and degraded multisensory integration. Resulting hypersensitivity to visual and auditory stimuli, diminished motor activity, and avoidance behaviors reduce motivation and increase reliance on internally generated affective and cognitive signals, further impairing adaptive engagement. NeuroPhysics Treatment (NPT) addresses these challenges by reintroducing gravitational loading through safe, seated resistance-based protocols that emphasize optimal posture. This controlled exposure enables the CNS to recalibrate to gravity as a functional reference, promoting rapid, compounding improvements in system organization, perception, and psychophysical performance.
